Role Description The Social Media Coordinator is a full-time remote role responsible for managing and growing PGS’s presence across social media platforms. Day-to-day tasks include planning, creating, and publishing engaging content that highlights garden conversions, customer stories, and seasonal tips. The role involves scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, responding to comments and messages, and adjusting content based on performance metrics. The coordinator will collaborate with leadership to align social media campaigns with marketing goals, support basic digital advertising efforts, and maintain a consistent brand voice. This position also requires staying current with social media trends and proposing new ideas to increase reach and audience interaction.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Content Creation and Social Media Marketing to plan, produce, and manage posts across key platforms.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Writing skills to craft clear, engaging messages and respond professionally to audience inquiries.
- Candidates should possess Digital Marketing skills to support campaigns, analyze performance data, and optimize content for reach and engagement.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines consistently.
- Familiarity with major social platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) and basic analytics tools.
- Interest in gardening, landscaping, or sustainable outdoor spaces is beneficial.
- Prior experience in a marketing, social media, or communications role is preferred.
