Plotsy introduces the Plotsy vBook™, a fourth book format alongside print, eBook, and audiobook. We translate written books into cinematic, episodic video experiences built for the way people consume content today.

The Role

We're hiring a Marketing Coordinator to run paid media campaigns, manage our social presence, and keep our launch campaigns on track. You'll execute against strategy and briefs set by leadership as part of a small, fast-moving team. This is a hands-on, in-the-platforms role.

Reports to: Founder & Chief Publishing Officer

Responsibilities

  • Build, launch, and optimize campaigns on Google, YouTube, and Meta
  • Serve as the day-to-day liaison with our Amazon DSP agency, relaying briefs and pulling reports
  • Manage posting, scheduling, and community engagement across social channels
  • Write social captions, ad copy variations, and light email copy
  • Light design work using production-provided graphics
  • Maintain the content calendar and campaign tracker
  • Execute against templated launch campaign plans alongside leadership and production
  • Report on campaign performance weekly and flag what's working and what isn't
  • Read the titles you're actively marketing to bring real context to campaigns and content

Must-Haves

  • Hands-on experience buying and placing ads on Google and YouTube
  • Hands-on experience buying and placing ads on Meta
  • Experience managing brand social media accounts day to day
  • Strong written communication skills, clear and on-voice

Fit

  • U.S.-based, remote
  • Comfortable executing without a lot of hand-holding in a small team
  • Available for some overlap with Central time, where our leadership team is based
  • A genuine love of books and storytelling across genres

Nice-to-Haves

  • Background in entertainment, streaming, or subscription media
  • Experience with performance reporting and UTM tracking
  • Canva experience a plus

This is a contract-to-hire position. The role begins as an independent contractor engagement with the intent to convert to full-time employment based on performance and business needs.
