Owting is building a platform designed to help people reconnect in real life. The product makes it easier to make plans, meet up, and build meaningful friendships offline. We are an early-stage, mission-driven team focused on solving loneliness through intentional, real-world connection.

Overview

This role sits at the intersection of product, marketing, and data. You will own user growth end-to-end from acquisition to activation to retention. The focus is not just driving installs, but building scalable growth loops that convert users into active participants in real-world experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the overall growth strategy across acquisition, activation, and retention
  • Identify, test, and scale growth channels (paid, organic, partnerships, referrals)
  • Design and optimize onboarding to improve activation and early user engagement
  • Build and iterate on growth loops (invites, events, referrals, network effects)
  • Run rapid experiments (landing pages, messaging, funnels) and analyze results
  • Partner closely with product/engineering to implement growth features
  • Track and report on key metrics (CAC, activation rate, retention, DAU/WAU)
  • Align growth efforts with brand, community, and product strategy

Qualifications

  • 3–6+ years of experience in growth, product marketing, or early-stage startups
  • Strong understanding of growth funnels, experimentation, and analytics
  • Experience scaling a product from early traction to measurable growth
  • Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on (builder mindset)
  • Data-driven with the ability to translate insights into action
  • Clear, direct communication and strong ownership mentality
  • Comfort working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments

Preferred (not required)

  • Experience with consumer or social products
  • Background in marketplace or network-effect platforms
  • Experience with paid acquisition (Meta, TikTok, Google)
  • Familiarity with tools like Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA, or similar
  • Experience building referral or viral growth systems
  • Interest in wellness, connection, or social impact
