Role Overview

The Community & Fan Engagement Manager will lead the strategy and execution of global fan engagement across Orange Chariot’s portfolio of entertainment IPs. This role blends audience insight with creative storytelling, building communities that celebrate each property’s identity while growing long-term loyalty.

You’ll collaborate closely with marketing, creative, and production teams to develop campaigns, events, and digital experiences that connect fans with the worlds and stories they love.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute community engagement strategies tailored to each IP’s audience and tone.
  • Build and nurture active fan communities across social and digital channels.
  • Collaborate with licensors, partners, and creative teams to design authentic, story-driven campaigns.
  • Plan digital and live fan events, contests, and activations that encourage participation and conversation.
  • Track and analyze engagement data to inform content and campaign decisions.
  • Identify influencers, fan creators, and brand ambassadors who align with each IP’s world and values.
  • Coordinate with marketing and creative leads on content calendars, social storytelling, and fan communication.
  • Ensure all community-facing materials align with brand and licensor guidelines.

Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of experience in community management, fan engagement, or digital marketing in entertainment, gaming, or media.
  • Strong understanding of fandom culture, storytelling, and audience behavior.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain online communities across multiple platforms.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
  • Experience coordinating between marketing, creative, and production teams.
  • Professional fluency in English; Japanese proficiency preferred.
  • A self-starter with an eye for creative detail and an instinct for what fans love.
