• This position is 100% Remote (Candidates in Eastern or Central Time Zones required; local office available in Owings Mills, MD).

Overview

Work with a high-growth group as a Performance Marketing Optimization Manager. In this role, you will be the primary architect of a structured testing and optimization strategy. You will lead the "test and learn" cycle, managing approximately 30 active tests at any given time to drive CPA improvements and revenue growth. This is a critical leadership position that bridges the gap between raw data science and creative marketing strategy, reporting directly to the Head of Performance Marketing with regular exposure to the CEO and Co-Founders.

You will…

• Lead and evolve the testing framework across direct mail and digital programs.

• Manage the end-to-end testing lifecycle, from defining hypotheses and KPIs to making "kill, scale, or hold" decisions.

• Build and maintain decision models in Excel/Google Sheets to forecast CPA and revenue impact.

• Supervise a Creative Tester and partner with Creative Services to turn data insights into winning creative templates.

• Present structured optimization recommendations and test learnings to executive leadership weekly.

• Collaborate with the Client Success team to roll out successful marketing "winners" across the client portfolio.

• Partner with Product Managers and Data Science to ensure reporting integrity and develop propensity-to-convert models.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in performance, growth, or direct response marketing.

• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience.

• Experience using BI tools such as Looker, QuickSight, Tableau, or Power BI.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL for custom reporting and data analysis.

• Proven expertise in A/B and multivariate testing frameworks and statistical confidence.

• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills with experience building complex decision models.

• Demonstrated experience owning CPA-focused acquisition performance.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and "build the plane while flying it."

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Mortgage or Financial Services marketing.

• Background in Direct Mail campaign optimization.

• Experience in high-volume lead generation environments.
