About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and commercially aware Business & Marketing Assistant to support research, business development, marketing, and operational activities across the business.

This is a varied opportunity suited to someone who is organised, curious, and interested in international business, commodities, sourcing, and growing brands. The role offers exposure to market research, LinkedIn and digital content support, company profiling, and wider commercial activities.

You will work closely with the business to support growth initiatives, brand visibility, research projects, and day-to-day operational support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market and company research across different industries and regions
  • Support LinkedIn content and brand visibility initiatives
  • Assist with business development and lead generation activities
  • Organise and maintain research data and business information
  • Support administrative and operational tasks where required
  • Monitor market trends and identify potential commercial opportunities
  • Assist with outreach and communication activities
  • Help maintain a professional and organised business presence online

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage tasks independently and proactively
  • Comfortable using LinkedIn, Google Sheets, and online research tools
  • Commercial awareness and willingness to learn
  • Interest in international business, sourcing, commodities, or trade is beneficial
  • Previous experience in administration, marketing, research, or business support is helpful but not essential
