The Role
We are looking for an experienced Head of Ecommerce to join our team and work directly with our retail clients to help them run successful, commercially driven ecommerce operations.
This is a senior, hands-on role suited to someone who has led ecommerce functions within retail businesses and understands the realities of trading online at scale. You will act as a strategic partner to our clients, helping shape ecommerce strategy, improve performance, and embed best practice across teams.
You will also play a key role internally, influencing product development by bringing real-world retail insight into how our software evolves.

Key Responsibilities:Client Ecommerce Leadership
- Act as a senior ecommerce advisor to retail clients, supporting Heads of Ecommerce, Ecommerce Managers, and Digital Directors
- Help clients define and execute ecommerce strategies aligned with commercial objectives
- Support trading activity including promotions, launches, seasonal peaks, and performance reviews
- Advise on ecommerce team structure, processes, and KPIs
Performance & Growth
- Drive improvements in conversion rate, AOV, revenue, and customer experience
- Analyse ecommerce performance and provide clear, actionable recommendations
- Support optimisation across UX, merchandising, content, and onsite journeys
- Champion data-led decision-making
Product & Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with product and commercial teams to shape our platform roadmap
- Translate client challenges into product opportunities
- Support pre-sales conversations by providing credible ecommerce leadership input when needed
About You
- Proven experience leading ecommerce within a retail business (Head of Ecommerce, Senior Ecommerce Manager, or similar)
- Strong commercial understanding of online retail and trading performance
- Experience working with ecommerce platforms, analytics tools, and digital marketing channels
- Confident communicator able to engage senior stakeholders
- Strategic thinker with a practical, hands-on mindset
- Passionate about helping retail brands grow online
