Job Description – Content Team ManagerPosition: Content Team Manager

Department: Global Operations – Content Division

Reports To: Director of Global Operations & Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Employment Type: Full-Time | Remote

Schedule: Monday – Friday

I. Role Overview

The Content Team Manager is responsible for leading RSF Agency’s Content Division, setting the strategic vision, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering team development across all content-related functions. This includes overseeing copy (captioning and scripting), graphics, and vault management to ensure brand consistency, creative quality, and timely content delivery.

As a working team leader, the Content Team Manager will supervise day-to-day deliverables while driving system improvements, performance management, and cross-department collaboration with Leads, QA, Client Relations, Promo, and Sales Ops. While not client-facing, this role plays a key part in supporting internal operations and sales-driving initiatives.

II. Key Responsibilities1. Team Leadership & Management

  • Directly supervise Caption Lead, Graphic Designers, Content Coordinators, and future hires.
  • Conduct 1:1 meetings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions.
  • Partner with HR for hiring, probation evaluations, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
  • Foster a high-performance, creative, and accountable team culture.
  • Lead weekly content meetings, ensuring alignment on deadlines, launches, and goals.

2. Content Strategy & Creative Direction

  • Translate model-specific goals into creative strategies across captions, visuals, and scripting.
  • Approve captioning calendars, promo captions, livestream bundles, and scripts.
  • Oversee vault organization with Content and QA teams.
  • Ensure brand voice, storytelling, and compliance with platform guidelines.
  • Monitor content trends and engagement insights to guide strategy.

3. Cross-Departmental Collaboration

  • Coordinate with Promo and Leads teams for timely content delivery.
  • Collaborate with QA for compliance reviews and vault checks.
  • Work with Client Relations and Sales Ops on launch plans.
  • Participate in strategy sessions with senior leadership.

4. Process Optimization & System Building

  • Refine SOPs for captions, graphics, scripts, and vault tagging.
  • Implement efficient use of project management and collaboration tools (Asana/ClickUp, Google Drive).
  • Establish escalation protocols for delays or compliance risks.
  • Introduce innovations (AI tools, templates, automation) to improve efficiency.

5. Quality Control & Reporting

  • Review and approve final deliverables for quality and compliance.
  • Track KPIs on caption effectiveness, graphic turnaround, and vault readiness.
  • Identify trends and address performance or quality issues.
  • Submit weekly reports and insights to the Director and COO.
  • Provide content analytics for leadership reviews.

III. Success Measures

  • Operational Efficiency:
  • 95%+ on-time delivery of all content.
  • Up-to-date and consistently followed SOPs.
  • Revisions on submitted work kept below 10%.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Clear ownership of team performance and growth.
  • High engagement and retention levels.
  • Regular feedback and performance review cycles.
  • Creative & Strategic Execution:
  • Content calendars and scripts aligned with branding and sales goals.
  • Captions and visuals optimized for conversions and promotions.
  • Assets contribute to vault upgrades, PPV bundles, and sales pushes.
  • Cross-Team Impact:
  • Positive feedback from Leads, Promo, QA, and Sales Ops.
  • Smooth integration of content into broader campaigns.
  • Vault aligned with chat team requirements.

IV. Required Skills & Attributes

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in team leadership within content, marketing, or digital media.
  • Strong creative instincts and storytelling skills in copy and branding.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, Notion, Asana, Canva/Photoshop, and vault systems.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and documentation abilities.
  • Adaptability, problem-solving orientation, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
