We are seeking a highly organised and detail-driven Email Marketing Specialist with strong HubSpot experience to lead the creation and delivery of email marketing activity across our global banking event portfolio.
This role is dedicated to building and optimising email campaigns, workflows, automations, segmentation, forms and landing pages inside HubSpot. You will be responsible for creating email assets, writing short-form email copy, ensuring data accuracy and supporting the continuous optimisation of our email marketing engine.
You will report directly to the Founder and CMO, giving you high visibility, quick decision-making and the opportunity to take ownership early. This is an ideal role for someone who loves CRM systems, cares about data cleanliness, enjoys building automated journeys and wants to play a key role in the performance of our campaigns.
Key ResponsibilitiesHubSpot Ownership and Email Marketing Execution (Core focus)
- Build, test and schedule email campaigns including newsletters, event updates, onboarding sequences and automated journeys
- Write clear and concise email copy including subject lines, preview text and short-form body content
- Build and optimise automated workflows with accurate triggers, segmentation logic and follow-up steps
- Segment contact lists and maintain data hygiene to ensure accurate targeting and GDPR compliance
- Maintain and improve email templates for consistency and usability across devices
- Build and update forms, landing pages, tracking links and CTAs using HubSpot tools
- Monitor performance and produce weekly email marketing reports with insights and recommendations
- Conduct full QA checks on all campaigns including links, personalisation, conditional logic and workflow paths
- Troubleshoot HubSpot issues and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
Email Asset Creation and Content Support
- Create simple email assets in Canva using predefined templates
- Prepare headers, banners and graphical elements for use in email campaigns
- Ensure brand consistency and accessibility across all email assets
- Maintain a well organised asset library with clear naming conventions
This role does not require graphic design expertise. Templates and brand guidelines are provided.
Light Website and Form Support
- Make simple updates to event webpages such as swapping forms, updating confirmation messages or embedding HubSpot elements
- Ensure all form submissions flow correctly into HubSpot lists, automations and reporting dashboards
No coding or advanced web experience is required.
Reporting and Continuous Improvement
- Produce consistent performance reports covering open rates, click rates, submissions, list growth and automation success
- Recommend improvements to workflows, segmentation, templates or campaigns based on data insights
- Support the wider team by maintaining CRM accuracy and structure
About You
- 2 to 3 years of experience in email marketing, CRM marketing or digital marketing
- Hands-on, confident daily user of HubSpot (essential)
- Strong understanding of email automation, segmentation, contact management and data workflows
- Able to write short, clear and engaging email copy aligned with brand tone
- Comfortable creating simple visual assets using Canva templates
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail across data, naming, file structure and QA
- Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with structured timelines
- Proactive, solutions-focused and confident working independently in a remote setting
- Motivated by optimising processes, improving performance and building predictable email journeys

Salary, Hours and Benefits
- Salary band of 32000 to 38000 per year based on experience plus performance bonus
- 40 hour working week with flexibility outside core hours
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Remote-first role with international travel required for our events
- Occasional in-person team meetings
