Party Action People (PAP) is a fast-growing B2B events business that owns and operates an international event series sitting at the intersection of finance, technology and digital assets, with flagship events delivered across the United States, the United Kingdom and Asia. Founded by event entrepreneurs with deep roots in the global FinTech ecosystem, PAP is building a world-class series of must-attend events for the finance and digital assets community.

PAP is scaling rapidly across three continents, backed by Manta Media Capital (MMC) — an event accelerator and investor in the global events and media sector. MMC partners with ambitious event founders to launch, grow and exit world-class event and media companies, combining capital with hands-on operational support from industry leaders who’ve done it before.

PAP is headquartered in the UK with an international footprint spanning Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North America, and is well-funded, well-supported and being built to scale.

The Role

Party Action People (PAP) is hiring a Marketing Director, in partnership with Manta Media Capital. PAP is a fast-growing B2B events business that owns and operates an international event series sitting at the intersection of finance, technology and digital assets, with flagship events delivered across the United States, the United Kingdom and Asia. We are scaling rapidly and need a Marketing Director who can match our ambition.

This is not a role for someone who needs a runway. We need a seasoned B2B events marketing leader, ideally with FinTech experience, who can hit the ground running from day one. You need a clear-eyed strategy, an established network and the drive to build a world-class marketing function that fills rooms, builds brands and generates pipeline across North America, Europe, and Asia. You will report directly to the founders of Party Action People and work closely with the commercial and event delivery teams, with regular international travel to the US, UK and Asia markets.

Key Responsibilities

Event Growth & Audience Acquisition

•       Own and execute end-to-end marketing strategies to drive delegate attendance, sponsor visibility and speaker programme awareness across all events in the series.

Global Campaign Management

•       Lead integrated, multi-channel campaigns across email, paid media, SEO/content, social and partner channels tailored to the nuances of North American, European and Asian FinTech audiences.

Brand Building

•       Elevate the event series into a must-attend destination brand within the global FinTech calendar. Drive positioning, messaging and thought leadership that commands attention.

Commercial Marketing

•       Collaborate with the sponsorship and sales teams to develop compelling commercial marketing collateral, case studies and partner-facing content that converts prospects into long-term partners.

Data & Performance

•       Establish robust marketing analytics, reporting frameworks and attribution models. Use data in your decision making to optimise spend and demonstrate clear ROI.

Team Leadership

•       Build, mentor and inspire a high-performing marketing team. Set the culture, raise the bar and develop internal talent while managing external agencies and freelancers.

FinTech Community Engagement

•       Cultivate relationships with FinTech communities, media partners, associations and influencers globally to amplify reach and credibility. Build programmes that position the event series as the definitive must-attend destination in global FinTech, leveraging co-marketing, endorsements and thought leadership to dominate the conversation.

Customer Experience Excellence

•       Champion a market-leading event experience for all customer types (delegates, exhibitors and sponsors). Work cross-functionally to ensure every touchpoint, from first registration to post-event follow-up, is intuitive, high-quality and genuinely exceeds expectations.

Retention & Upsell

•       Build and own a strategic retention programme that keeps existing customers coming back year-on-year. Develop targeted upsell pathways, upgrading delegate tiers, deepening sponsor packages, and growing exhibitor footprints, while continuously expanding the overall customer base through referral, advocacy and community-led growth.

AI-Powered Marketing & Personalisation

•       Lead the practical application of AI across the entire marketing function, from intelligent content creation and personalised outreach to predictive lead scoring and dynamic event experience personalisation. Partner with the operations team to embed AI into the onsite and digital event journey and ensure the marketing funnel is continuously optimised through automation and machine learning insights.

What You'll Bring: Experience & Skills Required

Essential

•       Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior B2B events marketing role, with a demonstrable track record of growing delegate numbers and brand profile for conference or summit-style events.

•       Proven, hands-on expertise in the B2B events marketing lifecycle, from launch and early-bird campaigns through to on-site activation and post-event nurture.

•       Proven experience marketing events across multiple international territories, with an understanding of how to localise messaging without losing brand coherence.

•       Direct experience marketing FinTech, financial services or adjacent technology events.

•       Existing relationships within the global FinTech ecosystem including influencers, investors, operators, press or associations.

•       Strong commercial acumen. You understand how marketing activity maps to revenue and you can articulate that story to stakeholders at every level.

•       Proficiency across the full digital marketing toolkit: CRM, marketing automation, paid acquisition, SEO, social, email and analytics platforms.

•       Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling copy and present confidently to senior stakeholders.

•       A creative eye for customer experience. You think about what delegates, sponsors and exhibitors feel at every stage of the event journey and know how to make that experience genuinely market-leading.

•       Proven expertise in customer retention and upsell marketing. You have a structured approach to re-engagement, loyalty and account growth that goes beyond batch-and-blast email.

•       Practical, working knowledge of AI marketing tools. You are already using AI to enhance content creation, personalisation, audience segmentation and funnel optimisation and you can bring that knowledge to bear immediately.

•       Experience building and managing industry partner and influencer programmes that meaningfully move the needle on event positioning and attendance.

Highly Desirable

•       Experience with ABM (Account-Based Marketing) strategies in a B2B context.

•       Familiarity with event technology platforms (e.g. Cvent, Hopin, Swapcard, Grip) and marketing automation tools (e.g. HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).

•       Exposure to sponsorship marketing and commercial partnership activation.

•       Experience leading and scaling a marketing team, including managing agencies, freelancers and multi-disciplinary in-house talent.
