The fully remote Marketing Writer II role will focus on creating and optimizing marketing copy across web, email, social, and advertising channels, collaborating with design, product, and marketing teams, and leveraging SEO and analytics to drive brand awareness and engagement. Ideal candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree, have 3–5 years of professional marketing writing experience, strong SEO and CMS proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced, remote environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Content Development: Craft persuasive marketing copy for websites, email campaigns, social media, paid ads, and video scripts that align with brand voice and campaign objectives.
  • Editorial Collaboration: Work closely with marketing strategists, designers, and product teams to develop and execute content calendars, briefs, and campaign materials.
  • SEO & Optimization: Conduct keyword research and apply SEO best practices to enhance discoverability and conversion rates across all digital platforms.
  • Analytics & Iteration: Monitor content performance using Google Analytics, SEMrush, or similar tools; analyze metrics to refine messaging and improve ROI.
  • Quality Assurance: Edit and proofread all content for accuracy, clarity, brand consistency, and adherence to style guidelines.
  • Cross‑Functional Coordination: Liaise with design, development, and external partners to ensure seamless integration of copy within multimedia assets.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of professional marketing writing or similar roles, preferably in digital or e‑commerce environments.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush), content management systems (e.g., WordPress), and basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
  • Writing Proficiency: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Remote Work Aptitude: Demonstrated success managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fully remote setting.
