Location: Remote (anywhere in the UK) Join the College of Policing and help deliver the systems that support officers, staff and volunteers across the UK. This is a role where your work directly contributes to improving frontline services, helping policing teams operate effectively and deliver better outcomes for the public. As a Senior Application Operations Engineer, you’ll play a key role in keeping critical platforms running smoothly, securely and efficiently, supporting learning and development across the policing network. About The Role You’ll support and configure College Learn, the organisation’s Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring it remains reliable, secure and fit for purpose. From onboarding new organisations to managing data and system access, you’ll be central to how the platform operates day to day. Working with internal teams and external partners, you’ll help deliver a seamless user experience while maintaining high standards of service, compliance and performance. This is a hands-on operational role where attention to detail, strong organisation and collaboration are key. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support onboarding, training and ongoing use of the LMS across policing organisations
  • Manage incidents, service requests and system changes
  • Configure system access, domains and data within the platform
  • Maintain accurate documentation, audit trails and configuration records
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues
  • Help ensure the platform remains secure, stable and high-performing

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with LMS platforms or enterprise systems
  • Strong understanding of system configuration, data management and IT service operations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational environment and manage competing priorities
  • High attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and compliance
  • Strong communication skills, able to support both technical and non-technical users
  • Proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement
