We’re a fast-growing DTC brand with a strong creative foundation and are now focused on building a repeatable, scalable content engine that fuels paid ads, email, and community.
The Role
We’re looking for a Content & Community Operator to own the execution of our content system.
This is a high-impact, execution-focused role responsible for making sure:
- the right content gets created
- creators stay on track
- assets are organized and usable
- content is distributed across channels
You will work directly with the founder and collaborate with our paid ads and email teams.
What You’ll OwnContent Engine (Core Responsibility)
- Manage our weekly content system (Notion-based)
- Coordinate content production across: UGC creators; internal content (including founder)
- Assign and follow up on creator deliverables
- Organize all assets (Drive)
- Tag and categorize content for reuse across: paid ads, email, social, PDP
Creator Management
- Manage a small bench of UGC creators (3–5)
- Send clear briefs based on weekly priorities
- Ensure timely delivery of content
- Maintain quality and consistency with brand guidelines
Social Media Execution
- Build and maintain a weekly content calendar
- Post consistently across:
- TikTok
- YouTube
- Write simple, on-brand captions
Affiliate Program Support
- Grow our Affiliate Program as a strategic part of our marketing strategy
- Review and approve new affiliate applications
- Send 2–4 communications per month:
- what’s working
- campaign direction
- announcements
- Support activation of top-performing affiliates
Community Management
- Moderate Facebook Group
- maintain tone and quality
- post announcements as needed
- respond to comments & DMs (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
Cross-Team Coordination
- Share organic content wins with paid ads team (VIDEN)
- Ensure email team has access to relevant content
- Help maintain a smooth content feedback loop
Creative Review & Quality Control
- Review creative from agencies and creators to ensure:
- brand alignment
- product accuracy (fit, usage, strap orientation, etc.)
- clarity and usability across channels
- Flag:
- off-brand content
- incorrect product usage
- low-quality or unusable assets
- Ensure content aligns with our core angles (what fits, lifestyle, strap fit, etc.)
👉 This role is not responsible for creative strategy, testing decisions, but serves as a quality and consistency filter across all content.
What Success Looks Like
- Content is consistently produced every week (no gaps)
- Creators deliver on time with minimal follow-up
- Assets are easy to find, organized, and reusable
- Social posting is consistent and on-brand
- Affiliates are engaged and receiving regular communication
- Creative across channels is clean, on-brand, and usable
Who You Are
- You're passionate about our mission and products (for real)
- You are a self-starter
- You know when to use AI for efficiency, not to replace creativity or thinking
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Proactive and reliable (you don’t need to be chased)
- Comfortable managing multiple moving pieces
- Clear communicator (especially async)
- Experience in DTC/ecommerce preferred
- Experience working with small, lean teams where there is no room for error
- Experience working with creators or social media required
What This Role Is NOT
- Not a strategy role
- Not a paid ads role
- A put everything into AI and get robotic copy, creative and content role - you must demonstrate familiarity and understanding of our brand without AI.
This is an execution + operations role.
Compensation & Structure
- Part-time contractor
- 15–25 hours per week
Compensation:
- $25–$40/hour depending on experience
- OR
- $2,000–$3,500/month retainer
Optional Performance Bonus
- Monthly bonus tied to:
- content consistency (weekly output met)
- creator delivery reliability
- affiliate engagement (emails sent, activity)
