Position Overview
We are seeking a high-octane marketing leader to transform our marketing function into a scalable, enterprise-grade revenue engine. Having established a strong Product-Market Fit within the Grocery and Retail Tech space, we are now entering an aggressive scale-up phase. Your mission is to refine our brand narrative for the Enterprise market, dominate high-intent digital channels, and build a world-class demand generation machine that targets the world’s largest retailers.
The Role
As the Head of Marketing, you will be a "Growth Architect." You will be responsible for moving the company beyond early-stage tactics into a sophisticated B2B motion. You will lead the transition from broad digital outreach to a focused, Account-Based Marketing (ABM) approach, ensuring our complex technical platform is positioned as the "must-have" solution for modern retail executives.
You Are:
- A “Complexity Crusher”: You can take a multi-faceted digital commerce platform and distill it into a clean, crisp value proposition that resonates with C-level retail executives.
- An Enterprise Navigator: You understand that "Upmarket" requires a different playbook—focusing on trust, authority, and ROI rather than high-volume consumer clicks.
- A Lead Gen Architect: You have a proven track record of building multi-channel inbound funnels across LinkedIn, Google, and emerging AI-driven search engines (GEO).
- A MarTech & AI Enthusiast: You stay ahead of AI developments to optimize the content lifecycle, lead scoring, and operational efficiency.
- A Strategic Operationalist: You don’t just "run campaigns"; you build systems that align Marketing and Sales to hit aggressive growth targets.
Core Responsibilities:
- Brand Evolution & Messaging: Lead the strategic refinement of our market positioning and digital presence to ensure we signal enterprise scale and AI-leadership to the global retail market.
- Full-Funnel Demand Generation: Develop and execute a sophisticated inbound strategy that prioritizes lead quality over quantity, leveraging ABM, paid social, and organic search.
- Strategic Field Marketing: Oversee our presence at industry trade shows and events, utilizing a data-driven approach to maximize lead capture and post-event conversion.
- Sales & Partner Enablement: Build a library of high-impact sales assets (Business Case decks, ROI calculators) and provide marketing support for our key strategic partnerships.
- Product Marketing: Act as the primary bridge between the market and our product team, ensuring our roadmap and messaging align with the evolving needs of enterprise buyers.
- Data-Driven Leadership: Construct ROI models, forecast the financial impact of marketing initiatives, and present performance metrics to the Executive Team and Board.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: 5+ years of marketing experience, with a significant portion in a B2B SaaS leadership role during a high-growth scale-up phase.
- Strategic Background: A strong background in Product Marketing is a significant plus. We need a leader who can deeply understand our product’s technical capabilities and translate them into compelling, high-impact value propositions.
- Enterprise Expertise: Proven success in "moving upmarket" and selling complex technical solutions to large-scale organizations.
- Domain Knowledge: Experience in Retail Tech, E-commerce, or Supply Chain software is highly preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced hands-on experience with the modern growth stack (Salesforce/HubSpot, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Intent Data tools like 6sense/Bombora, and Google Analytics).
- Communication: Exceptional writing and presentation skills with a propensity for creating "clean and crisp" messaging.
