Role:
We're looking to add an established marketing professional to join our clients global marketing team on a five-month contract for a parental leave cover. If you're passionate about working with others, and providing an outstanding experience for our customers, you might be perfect for our team.
In this role, you will assume the responsibilities of our permanent team member, ensuring the continuity of high-impact marketing campaigns. As the Senior Manager, Strategic Campaigns, you play a critical role in driving global performance marketing campaigns.
You’ll oversee strategic campaigns that are closely aligned with sales objectives while collaborating with a diverse group of stakeholders across the organization. This is a contracted position for parental leave coverage and will start at the beginning of December 2025 through the end of May 2026.
This is a remote role, but colleagues are located across the United States, and in Europe, primarily.
What You’ll Do:
· Plan, execute, and evaluate marketing campaigns to achieve campaign objectives including increased brand awareness, generating leads, driving TQL conversions, and supporting the overall marketing goals.
· Oversee the entire campaign lifecycle, from developing strategy and conceptualizing ideas to executing and analyzing the campaign's performance.
· Develop a clear understanding of the campaign's purpose and objectives, identify the target audience, and create a comprehensive strategy to reach and engage them effectively.
· Create a detailed campaign plan, including defining messaging, selecting appropriate marketing channels, setting budgets and timelines, and coordinating with cross-functional teams (including larger global marketing team, sales, SDRs, account management and product marketing) to execute the campaign.
· Oversee a global webinar program and understand fundamentals of planning, hosting and contributing to a live event.
· Collaborate with external agencies, designers, and copywriters to develop compelling marketing materials, advertisements, and other campaign assets that align with the campaign's objectives.
· Identify the most suitable marketing channels, such as social media, email marketing, paid advertising, events, content marketing, and managing their implementation and optimization throughout the campaign.
· Allocate resources effectively (between internal designers and writers, and creative agencies), managing budgets, and optimizing spend to ensure the campaign's success within the allocated resources.
· Track and analyze campaign performance metrics, such as reach, engagement, conversion rates, and ROI, and make data-driven decisions to optimise the campaign's effectiveness.
· Develop a strategy for marquee demand events throughout the year using an account-based marketing approach.
· Utilize insights from 6sense to inform event strategy from messaging, to channel mix, to communication strategy, to speaker sessions, to product demos/showcases.
· Align with the demand events team to drive strategy at onset of event planning, and coordinate efforts with cross-functional teams.
· Manage event invitations via marketing owned channels.
· Lead a team of two direct reports and support their development.
The ideal candidate has:
· 10 years of experience in B2B marketing, ideally within SaaS companies.
· Demonstrated success in campaign strategy, management, and reporting.
· Familiarity with 6sense, Workfront, Smartsheet, Salesforce and Marketo.
· Comfortability presenting strategies, concepts, and results to internal leadership and external partners.
· Experience in managing multiple direct reports and supporting their career development.
· Exceptional attention to detail, organization and project management skills.
