Role Overview:

Komodo is seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented Google Advertising & Email Marketing Specialist to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. This role will be pivotal in managing our client Google Ads campaigns, optimizing our in house CRM system (HubSpot), and developing and executing effective client email marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of digital marketing best practices, data analysis, and the ability to translate marketing objectives into actionable strategies.

Responsibilities:Google Advertising Management:

  • Develop, implement, and manage Google Ads campaigns across Search, Display, Shopping, and potentially YouTube.
  • Conduct thorough keyword research, audience targeting, and ad copywriting to maximize campaign performance.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, identify areas for optimization, and implement data-driven adjustments.
  • Manage budgets effectively and ensure a strong return on ad spend (ROAS).
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Google Ads features and best practices.
  • Generate regular performance reports and provide insightful analysis to stakeholders.

CRM Management & Optimization:

  • Administer and optimize our CRM system (Hubspot) to ensure data accuracy, efficient workflows, and seamless integration with other marketing tools.
  • Develop and implement CRM strategies to improve lead management, customer segmentation, and personalization efforts.
  • Create and maintain CRM dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide training and support to team members on CRM best practices.

Email Marketing Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive email marketing strategies aligned with client marketing objectives and customer lifecycle stages.
  • Create engaging and effective email campaigns, including newsletters, promotional emails, automated workflows, and transactional emails.
  • Manage email list segmentation, targeting, and personalization to maximize engagement.
  • Monitor and analyze email campaign performance (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) and implement A/B testing to optimize results.
  • Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
  • Maintain and grow our email database through ethical and effective methods.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (typically 4+ years) managing Google Ads campaigns with a strong track record of achieving measurable results.
  • Demonstrated experience (typically 2+ years) in CRM management and optimization (Hubspot).
  • Solid experience (typically 3+ years) developing and executing successful email marketing campaigns. (Klavyio)
  • Experience in building out emails - copy and content for eccomerce brands in the fashion and beauty sector.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, content marketing, and social media.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
  • Proficiency in using Google Analytics and other relevant marketing analytics tools.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (Klaviyo).
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
