Kite & Key Media
Kite & Key is a non-profit, non-partisan digital media company focused on making complex public policy issues understandable to mainstream audiences. We produce tightly-structured videos that translate findings from research institutions — think tanks, universities, government sources, journalistic outlets, etc. — into concise, compelling, short-form (6-8 minute) programming.
The Role
Kite & Key Media is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and digitally savvy Marketing Associate to support the execution of our marketing and audience growth efforts.
This role sits at the center of our weekly content release process, helping ensure that videos and related materials are accurately prepared, published, promoted, and tracked across our website, email, YouTube, and social media channels. The Marketing Associate will coordinate recurring launches, manage organic social execution, prepare marketing assets and copy, monitor performance, maintain marketing systems and content inventories, and conduct careful quality assurance before materials go live.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their marketing career who already has meaningful hands-on experience and is ready to take ownership of recurring projects and is eager to contribute fresh ideas, creative thinking, best practices, and effective systems to help the team do their best work. As Kite & Key continues to grow, this role offers significant opportunity to learn, expand your skills, and take on increasing responsibility. We are looking for someone ambitious who is excited to grow along with the organization. The right candidate is an exceptionally strong executor who enjoys managing details, deadlines, digital platforms, and multiple moving pieces while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and polish.
Precision, organization, and attention to detail are essential to success in this role. Candidates should consider these among their strongest professional skills.
