Are you someone who loves digital content and knows what makes a website experience great? We are looking for our newest Digital Content Specialist, who will play a pivotal role in creating a world-class digital experience for Intrepid travellers. You will write, structure and optimise clear, engaging and useful content while supporting organic visibility and digital growth. As a key part of our Brand Content team, you’ll bring together written and SEO expertise to make sure every page of our website has a clear purpose and delivers value for both our customers and our business.
Your days will vary from one to the next, you could be researching destinations and writing compelling copy one day, and building and optimising pages in our CMS the next. You’ll work closely with the SEO team to create content that connects with customers and drives organic growth. We’re looking for someone with a sharp eye for detail, a customer -first mindset and the ability to balance quality, creativity and commercial objectives. Working in a global team will require flexibility and fantastic collaboration and communication skills, alongside a real passion for travel and writing!
This is a full time, permanent role, based on a hybrid basis out of our head office on Collins Street in Melbourne, Australia (2 days a week working from home).
Some of the experience you’ll bring will include:
- 2 years' experience in a similar role in content or copywriting, ideally in house
- A relevant degree in marketing, media, journalism, communications, or a similarly related field
- Excellent written communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the proven ability to effectively communicate information to a variety of audiences globally
- A strong understanding of SEO principles and the ability to create engaging content across website pages.
- Experience in using CMS platforms with the ability to handle multiple workstreams and prioritise
