This role is REMOTE, although we will only consider those based in the UK.About the Role
Working alongside the Into Games team, you’ll help manage and grow Slow Game Club as part of our annual fundraising activity, supporting Into Games’ mission to improve social mobility across the UK games industry.
This is a varied, hands-on role covering community engagement, partnerships with indie studios, content and marketing activity, and the operational delivery of Slow Game Club.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be responsible for the ongoing delivery and growth of Slow Game Club, with a focus on:
- Game key distribution: Managing the smooth monthly distribution of game keys to subscribers, including coordination with studios and clear communication with the community.
- Community communication and care: Managing regular Discord communications, ad-hoc community conversations, and customer enquiries via Discord and Gmail, ensuring a welcoming, well-run member experience in line with Slow Game Club guidelines.
- Content and project updates: Delivering regular community and email communications, including podcast promotion and wider Slow Game Club updates.
- Podcast coordination and production: Onboarding developers and hosts, coordinating the monthly Slow Game Club podcast, and managing technical set-up using Streamyard.
- Promotion and audience growth: Creating promotional assets using provided brand assets, producing and sharing short-form video clips from podcasts to reach new audiences.
About You
You’re an organised, hands-on community and content operator who will be comfortable owning the day-to-day delivery of a subscription product. You enjoy working across communications, content, and operations, and you care about creating a thoughtful, reliable experience for members and partners alike.
You’ll have:
- An interest in games, indie studios, and community-led projects, with an understanding of how good communication builds trust over time.
- Experience managing online communities and customer communications, ideally across platforms like Discord and email.
- Confidence handling operational delivery, including coordinating partners, managing schedules, and ensuring things like monthly releases or key distributions run smoothly.
- Practical experience creating and adapting content using templates and existing brand guidelines, with an eye for clarity.
- Comfort working with a mix of tools and platforms, including community, email, and subscription tools, and the confidence to learn systems such as Kajabi, Firefoo, and Discord quickly.
- Alignment with Into Games’ mission to improve social mobility across the UK games industry, and a desire to support that work through thoughtful, well-run delivery.
