Role Description This part-time remote Content Editor / Copy Editor role at Iniciativa Mundial Ingeniería del Futuro (IMIF) focuses on ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency across written materials. The Content Editor / Copy Editor will review and refine articles, reports, web pages, and educational content to align with IMIF’s style guidelines and quality standards. Daily responsibilities include editing for grammar, tone, structure, and coherence; checking facts and sources; and collaborating with writers and project leads to improve content effectiveness. The role also involves managing content workflows, updating existing materials, and providing clear editorial feedback to maintain a coherent voice across all publications. Qualifications

• Strong editorial and content management skills, with experience overseeing content workflows and maintaining style consistency.
• Proficiency in web content writing and general writing, with the ability to adapt language for different audiences and digital formats.
• Solid research abilities to verify information, cross-check sources, and support evidence-based content.
• Excellent command of written English, including grammar, punctuation, and style; familiarity with common style guides (e.g., APA, Chicago, or similar).
• Experience working remotely, with reliable time management, self-organization, and collaborative communication in digital environments.
• Comfort with using content management systems and basic digital tools (e.g., word processors, online collaboration platforms, version control tools).
• Background in editing technical, scientific, or engineering-related content is an advantage.
• Relevant education or training in communications, linguistics, journalism, technical writing, or a comparable field is preferred.
