Job Description

Posted on: August 15, 2026

IE Media, Inc. is a leading, global digital media publisher that covers technology, engineering, and science news. We deliver the most futuristic and cutting-edge developments in these areas to our readers and followers on social media through articles and videos.

IE’s fast-paced and collaborative international work environment celebrates quality and ethical journalism. The team includes a diverse group of infinitely curious individuals from all around the world who share a joint passion for sharing the latest and the most important info with the world, as we believe knowledge is power.

We're looking for a hands-on, data-driven Audience Development Manager to grow, engage, and monetize our audiences across every digital platform. This is a mid-level, individual-contributor role reporting directly into senior leadership. You'll own the day-to-day execution of our audience growth, creator, social, SEO, and newsletter efforts — building the systems that turn reach into revenue and helping shape what our millions of readers and viewers see next.

This is a full-time contract position for the first year. The role is fully remote, with travel to Istanbul a few times per year.

What you'll do

  • Plan and execute digital marketing and audience-growth campaigns across web, social, newsletters, and video.
  • Manage and grow our presence on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Facebook, and emerging platforms.
  • Build and manage relationships with Meta and Google, and grow a network of creators and partners.
  • Develop social media monetization systems and repeatable workflows that turn audience growth into revenue.
  • Use AI tools to streamline content scheduling, planning, and workflow automation.
  • Work closely with editorial and video teams to shape content that resonates with target segments.
  • Use analytics tools to track performance, spot trends, and translate data into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Implement and refine SEO/SEM strategies to grow organic traffic and page views.
  • Own the newsletter and email program — growing the list while keeping existing subscribers engaged.
  • Stay ahead of platform and format changes, and bring new growth ideas to the table.

What you bring

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing and social media, with a proven track record of growing audiences across platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and newsletters.
  • Hands-on experience managing creators or creator programs on Meta platforms (Instagram, Facebook) — creator tools, partnerships, and relationship management.
  • Strong networking skills, with a track record of building and growing a network of creators, partners, and platform contacts.
  • Proven experience monetizing social media audiences (platform monetization programs, brand partnerships, ad/creator revenue) and building scalable systems and workflows to support it.
  • Experience using AI tools for content scheduling and workflow automation.
  • Strong, practical knowledge of SEO and SEM.
  • Fluency with digital analytics tools, and the ability to turn data into insight and decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal English.
  • Experience in the publishing or media industry (strongly preferred).
  • Familiarity with digital product strategy and user-registration funnels (a plus).
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (a plus; relevant experience can substitute).

What we offer

  • Competitive monthly compensation, engaged as a full-time contractor via Deel
  • A performance bonus tied to social video revenue
  • Remote. You'll overlap with our core hours on Istanbul time (GMT+3) — a natural fit for most of Europe.
  • Real ownership and direct access to leadership, in a brand with global reach
  • Birthday leave
  • 20+ days PTO
