Location : Remote - United States Position Summary Histosonics is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Sales Operations to lead and optimize our global sales processes, analytics, and commercial effectiveness. This role will leverage advanced data analytics and operational expertise to support the executive and commercial teams, driving scalable growth and operational excellence across the organization. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, creative, and passionate about improving sales workflows and commercial outcomes in a fast-paced, innovative environment. As our Director of Sales Operations, you will define and implement systems and data architecture to enable accurate, actionable reporting and insights for sales effectiveness and efficiency. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and distribution of sales analytics reports and dashboards, providing actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making for the global sales and executive leadership teams.
  • Design and implement field metric analytics and models to measure sales team performance and activity in clear, concise formats.
  • Partner with sales leadership to drive sales growth through analytics-based recommendations, including resource allocation, incentive programs, and pricing strategies.
  • Develop and manage sales forecasts incorporating historical, trended, and current business information.
  • Synthesize information from multiple data sources into actionable insights for the commercial team.
  • Apply quantitative analysis and data visualization to communicate the story behind the numbers.
  • Identify process bottlenecks and recommend solutions to improve sales team performance and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the development and tracking of quarterly sales quotas by territory and monitor real-time performance against those quotas.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs and their impact on revenue objectives.
  • Lead territory planning, including evaluating and optimizing customer territory assignments, tracking alignment changes, and communicating new structures.
  • Collaborate with commercial leadership, finance, and reimbursement teams to address questions, drive process improvements, and analyze complex sales flows.
  • Prioritize and manage incoming requests for analysis projects, ensuring timely and impactful delivery.
  • Oversee data management in CRM and other databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the sales organization.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven success leading CRM (Salesforce.com) and analytics platform (Tableau) implementations.
  • 7+ years of experience in sales operations, business analytics, process improvement, or program/project management, preferably in medical device or life sciences.
  • Strong quantitative skills in data management, analysis, and trend identification.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Extensive experience with information systems and ad-hoc data extraction (Salesforce experience strongly preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to travel occasionally as needed (10% or less).
