About The Role We are seeking a talented and motivated Digital Marketing Manager to join our small, passionate team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape and lead our digital marketing strategies, helping to increase our visibility, supporter engagement, and fundraising efforts. As the Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing digital campaigns across various online channels, including social media, our website, email marketing, and paid media. Your work will directly contribute to raising awareness of our programs and attracting support from individuals, partners, and donors worldwide. The role is remote, providing flexibility to work from home or our charity shop in Abingdon, with a focus on driving growth through innovative digital initiatives. This position is part-time, with the potential for permanent employment after a successful probation period or freelance engagement, offering a dynamic environment to utilize your creativity and strategic thinking. Qualifications To succeed in this role, candidates should possess a strong background in digital marketing, with proven experience in managing multi-channel campaigns. A relevant degree or professional qualification in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred. Candidates must have hands-on experience with SEO/SEM, Google Ads, Meta Ads, and analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Tag Manager. Familiarity with CRM systems and automated marketing platforms is essential for supporting supporter journeys and tracking KPIs. Excellent communication skills, creativity, and a data-driven mindset are crucial. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a proactive attitude. Most importantly, a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of disadvantaged children and young people is essential. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, development, and execution of comprehensive digital marketing campaigns across all online platforms, including social media, website, email, and paid media, to enhance brand visibility and supporter engagement.
- Manage and optimize website content, ensuring it aligns with organizational goals and provides a compelling user experience. Oversee website performance metrics and implement improvements based on data insights.
- Develop and oversee social media content calendars, creating engaging posts and campaigns that resonate with target audiences and drive supporter interaction.
- Design and implement targeted email marketing campaigns to nurture supporter relationships, promote fundraising initiatives, and increase donor retention.
- Utilize analytics tools to monitor digital campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights to inform strategy adjustments and maximize ROI.
- Manage paid advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads and Meta Ads, ensuring effective budget utilization and campaign targeting.
- Collaborate closely with the fundraising team, leadership, and external partners to ensure digital activities support overall organizational objectives and fundraising strategies.
- Maintain a consistent and positive online presence by monitoring and managing the charity’s online reputation.
- Identify emerging digital marketing trends and technologies, integrating innovative approaches to keep Rafiki Thabo Foundation at the forefront of digital engagement.
- Support the development of digital content, including videos, graphics, and storytelling materials to enhance campaign effectiveness and supporter engagement.
- Contribute to continuous improvement through regular analysis, reporting, and testing of new ideas and strategies.
