They are now recruiting a Digital Product Developerβa key technical role within a growing digital product and experience function. Working alongside the Senior Digital Product Manager and Senior Digital Experience Manager, youβll help design, build, and optimise digital solutions across three areas:
- Websites (primary focus)
- Digital products such as wellbeing apps and user portals
- Automation and process-optimisation initiatives
This role offers remote working with occasional travel to London or Manchester for collaboration and key meetings.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimise websites, digital products, and automation tools
- Build front-end experiences using modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue) and contribute to back-end logic (Node.js, .NET, Python)
- Create automation solutions such as chatbots, workflow tools, intelligent forms, and AI-enabled processes
- Collaborate with product, design, content, and operational teams to deliver secure, accessible, high-performance experiences
- Apply best practice across accessibility, SEO, performance and optimisation
- Support technical lifecycle management and ensure solutions remain scalable and maintainable
- Contribute to technical standards, architecture and tooling across the digital function
- Champion modern development practices, experimentation, and continuous improvement
Ideal Candidate
You will have experience working across websites, digital products, and/or automation initiatives, with strength in full-stack development. You should:
- Be fluent in modern front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Angular/Vue)
- Have foundational back-end experience (Node.js, .NET or Python)
- Understand web architecture, APIs and integrations
- Be familiar with CMS platforms (e.g., Kontent.ai)
- Have experience with automation via low/no-code tools, RPA or AI-enabled workflows
- Be comfortable working in agile, cross-functional teams
- Apply secure development practices with strong awareness of accessibility, performance and privacy
Desirable: cloud platforms (e.g., Azure), CI/CD pipelines, mobile or hybrid apps, database management, and API development. Adaptability and problem-solving are valued above all.
