  • Manage day-to-day content publishing across social media channels.
  • Monitor trends, conversations and emerging issues across digital platforms.
  • Use audience insights and performance data to optimise content and engagement.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to develop and deliver digital communications activity.
  • Support major campaigns, announcements and high-profile events.
  • Contribute to content planning and wider social media strategy.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

  • Experience managing public-facing social media or digital communications channels.
  • Excellent copywriting, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
  • Experience delivering communications or engagement campaigns.

  • A strong understanding of social media best practice, audience engagement and digital trends.
  • Previous experience within the public sector or another complex stakeholder environment would be advantageous.

Working Pattern

This role is approximately 25-26 hours per week, spread across 3-4 shifts per week. The team operates a rota covering Monday to Sunday, with shifts typically falling between:

  • 7:00am-3:00pm
  • 10:00am-8:00pm

The role is predominantly remote, with occasional attendance at the London office for team days and meetings, which are planned in advance.

Additional Information

The Christmas and New Year period is one of the team's busiest times, particularly in relation to communications surrounding London's New Year's Eve celebrations. The successful candidate will therefore be expected to work either a Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve shift as part of the rota.

If you're looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity where you can make a real impact through digital communications and social media engagement, we'd love to hear from you.
