Social Media Manager (Part-Time Contract Remote)

The Role

We’re looking for a part-time Social Media Manager to help share our message across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook. This is an ideal side-gig for someone who’s inspired by our mission and wants to make a meaningful contribution through content and community engagement.

What You’ll Do

• Post 2x/week on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram following an agreed-upon content calendar
• Write captions, schedule posts, source basic imagery, and do graphic design as needed
• Use content from our Giving Leadership Councils program for 50–75% of posts (see our current LinkedIn posts for examples), with room for creative contributions if interested
• Monitor and respond to comments and messages in a timely, positive, and mission-aligned way
• Collaborate with the Grateful Giving team for story ideas and content inspiration

What We’re Looking For

• Passion for Grateful Giving’s mission and values
• Strong writing skills and familiarity with social media best practices
• Experience managing social media accounts for an organization, brand, or cause
• Self-starter who’s organized, communicative, and consistent
• Reliable and organized — able to stick to a posting schedule
• Early-career social media and graphic design or Canva skills (can be from school, internships, freelance, or volunteer work)

• Estimated 2-5 hours per week
• Compensation: $200/month
• Start date: August 25, 2025
