Marketing & Content Lead (U.S.-Based Company, Australia Remote)Summary
We are hiring a Marketing & Content Lead to help shape, execute, and scale the brand and content engine of a fast-growing U.S.-based company.
This is a high-trust, high-judgment role. You will work closely with the founder and leadership team to translate ideas, experiences, and strategy into clear messaging, strong content, and consistent execution across platforms.
You will not be micromanaged. You will be expected to think, decide, and ship.
This role is ideal for someone who understands founder-led brands, can balance creativity with structure, and enjoys building systems that make content repeatable and effective.
What You’ll Be DoingContent Strategy & Direction
- Help shape the company’s content strategy across platforms
- Translate founder ideas, conversations, and direction into clear content themes
- Identify what to say, how to say it, and where it should live
Content Creation & Execution
- Draft and edit short-form and long-form content (social posts, captions, scripts)
- Coordinate and support video content workflows
- Prepare content for distribution across Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and other channels
- Work with editors or contractors when needed
Founder & Brand Support
- Work closely with the founder to refine voice, tone, and positioning
- Turn raw thoughts, Looms, or conversations into polished content
- Maintain brand consistency across all outputs
Marketing Systems & Process
- Build and improve repeatable content workflows
- Use tools like Notion, Google Docs, Canva, and scheduling platforms to stay organized
- Ensure content moves from idea to published without friction
Performance Awareness (Not Obsessive)
- Track what content resonates and why
- Use feedback and basic metrics to refine direction
- Focus on signal, not vanity metrics
How You’ll Work
- Async-first, with Loom used heavily for communication
- Clear weekly priorities and deliverables
- Partial overlap with U.S. time for alignment when needed
- High autonomy, high accountability
Who We’re Looking For
- Strong writer and communicator
- Excellent judgment around messaging and tone
- Comfortable working directly with founders
- Organized and able to manage multiple content streams
- Able to think strategically and execute tactically
- Comfortable giving feedback and pushing back when needed
- Experience with content, brand, or marketing role
- Marketing degrees don’t matter.
- Judgment, clarity, and execution do.
