Overview
Over the last ten years Gamban has helped thousands of people around the world break free from
addiction to online gambling. As we enter the next chapter, we need an experienced and dynamic
social media manager to join the team, enabling us to reach and engage more people around the
world.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Planning
- Plan and run social media, content, and community activity across all key platforms (e.g.
- x.com, Facebook, LinkedIn, Youtube, etc…)
- Implement platform-specific content calendars
- Staying up to date with platform updates, trends, and competitor activities.
- Content Creation & Publishing
- Write and coordinate the creation of content (posts, blogs, newsletters, videos, and visual
- assets
- Adapt tone and style per channel (e.g. TikTok vs LinkedIn)
Community Engagement
- Respond to comments, messages, tags, and mentions in a timely, brand-appropriate way
- Build positive relationships with users, advocates, and critics
- Moderate community spaces (e.g. Facebook Groups, Reddit, Discord), enforcing guidelines
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor performance (engagement, reach, follower growth, sentiment, click-throughs, etc)
- Share regular reports with insights and recommendations
- Use data to refine the approach and improve content
Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with marketing, design, support, and product teams
- Brief and manage freelancers or agencies when needed
- Ensure consistent voice, style, and messaging across all content
Crisis & Reputation Management
- Flag negative feedback or risks effectively
- Support with clear, helpful responses or holding statements
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong track record of managing and growing social media channels
- Confidence in ownership and drive projects from planning to execution
- Comfortable working in a small, fast-paced, remote-first team
- Excellent copywriting and content production skills
- Ability to adapt content across languages, regions, and platforms
- Familiarity with tools like Canva, Figma, Adobe Suite, or equivalents
Desirable: Experience, interest and/or understanding in gambling, gambling addiction.
