Wanted: A savvy communicator who can sell by text (yes, really) — Casual/Part-Time, Remote
FitComms is a new kind of sales and communications outfit — built for a market that doesn't answer calls from unknown numbers anymore, but will reply to a good text.
We're not a call centre. We're not a script-reading machine. We communicate the way our market actually communicates — SMS-first conversations, real phone calls when it counts, and a genuine ability to build rapport fast and convert interest into action.
The gig: You'll be the dedicated point of contact for one brand — learning their story, their market, and their offer inside out. This isn't juggling ten random clients. It's owning one relationship and becoming genuinely great at it.
What you'll actually be doing:
- Selling by chat — running SMS conversations that feel human, not automated
- Making outbound calls to warm leads, positioning the value prop with confidence
- Qualifying prospects and converting them into presales / sign-ups
- Being the first voice (and first text) someone hears from the brand
What we're looking for:
- Someone who can write a text message that gets a reply, not silence
- Comfortable on the phone — you can hold a conversation, handle objections, and close
- Naturally persuasive without being pushy — you read the room (or the thread)
- Self-motivated — you'll be trained up, then trusted to run with it
