Fetch TCG is the marketplace ANZ TCG players actually use to buy and sell cards. No paying $30 in shipping from overseas. No chasing strangers in Facebook groups.

We started with One Piece in NZ and quickly became the dominant marketplace for it. Now, we’re rolling into Pokémon, MTG, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and beyond across both NZ and Australia.

We need a growth operator to own the entire growth surface. We don’t want an agency. We don’t want a single channel specialist. We want someone who can get things done.🛠️ What you'll be doing

Ultimately, your job is to do whatever moves GMV. This role doesn’t have a fixed description - it’s about doing the thing that works this month, and you’ll get a strong say in exactly what we work on.

  • Supply side: Getting local game stores onto our Shopify plugin and building the relationships that drive supply. Managing event and tournament partnerships across the AU and NZ tournament circuit.
  • Demand side: Taking over lifecycle marketing. Owning our Brevo setup end-to-end and building flows that fix our buyer-to-seller ratio.
  • Community: Leading community and content efforts across Discord, Facebook groups, Reddit, deck guides, and meta reports.

🎯 Who we're looking for

We need a generalist who executes. We care about output over hours—someone who knows how to hustle hard and think creatively.

  • If you like the sound of pitching a partnership on Monday, building an email flow on Tuesday, writing a Reddit post on Wednesday, and running a tournament stall on Saturday—you’ll fit right in.
  • If your first instinct is to hire a contractor, this is the wrong fit.
  • Scrappy with small budgets: You prefer organic, partnership, and lifecycle plays. Paid marketing is a small lever for us.
  • Comfortable selling: A lot of this role is business development—emailing store owners, walking into local game stores, and negotiating with organizers.
  • Deeply familiar with TCGs: You don’t need to be a tournament regular, but you should genuinely care about the games. Someone who already plays will move 3x faster than someone learning the scene.
  • Strong bias to action: We’ve had people take weeks on things that should take days. We’re not doing that again.

🤝 What you getThis is an equity only role with a founding team grant. There is no salary, and we want to be upfront about that. If cash is a dealbreaker, this isn't the role for you.

  • Complete flexibility: Full-time, part-time, or build it alongside another job. As long as you’re moving the needle, you manage your own time.
  • Real ownership: You are the marketing function with a direct line to product and leadership. You decide what to test, and you ship it.
  • Clear runway: An active partnership pipeline, warm introductions, a product that converts, and a wide-open category.
  • A high quality team: The Fetch TCG team is made of senior industry experts with plenty of war stories and complementary skills to help you settle in and grow.
