Position Purpose
The Senior Graphic Designer plays a key role in creating scroll-stopping ad creatives that drive performance and engagement for farsiight's clients. This position works closely with the Creative Team Lead and Creative Strategist to develop static creatives, motion-based advertisements and UGC post production content optimised for paid media platforms including Meta, TikTok, Google, YouTube, and other digital channels.
The role focuses on hands-on creative execution with opportunities for mentorship and professional growth. The Senior Graphic Designer will contribute to campaigns for clients in the eCommerce sector, applying direct response design principles to create ads that capture attention and drive action.
Key Responsibilities and DutiesCreative Design and Execution
- Design scroll-stopping ad creatives for platforms including Meta, TikTok, Google, YouTube, and other paid media channels.
- Develop static and motion-based advertisements optimised for both performance and engagement.
- Create visual assets that align with conversion-driven principles, ensuring ads capture attention and drive action.
- Apply design fundamentals to produce clear messaging, eye-catching visuals, and strong calls to action.
- Adapt designs across different brand styles to suit various audiences and platforms.
Design Tools and Technical Execution
- Work proficiently in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator, and/or Figma.
- Apply advanced motion design skills using After Effects, Premier Pro, or other short-form video tools.
- Execute designs efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
- Follow design specifications and technical requirements for different advertising platforms.
Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborate with Creative Lead and Creative Strategist to elevate creative output.
- Collaborate with Media buyers and Strategy Leads on overall account strategy for creative testing.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and creative development discussions.
- Communicate proactively, asking questions and seeking clarification when needed.
- Receive and implement feedback constructively to improve design outcomes from internal and external stakeholders.
- Meet deadlines consistently while managing multiple design projects.
Learning and Development
- Demonstrate enthusiasm for digital advertising, creative performance, and continuous learning.
- Stay curious about marketing and consumer psychology.
- Develop understanding of direct response design and advertising principles.
- Build a portfolio of professional work across various clients with the eCommerce industries.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, supporting their creative development and growth within the team.
Required Qualifications and ExperienceEssential Requirements
- Min 4-5 years of experience in digital design, ideally with experience with direct response advertising.
- Experience with working in fast paced environments, and juggling multiple projects at a time.
- Based in Australia or Offshore.
- Portfolio demonstrating high quality design skills and creative thinking.
- High quality design skills with strong visual design fundamentals.
- Excellent understanding of what makes an effective advertisement, including clear messaging, eye-catching visuals, and strong calls to action.
- Proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Premier Pro) and Figma.
- Proactive attitude, with willingness to learn and grow.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience in working with large/enterprise eCommerce clients.
- Strong understanding of direct response design or advertising principles.
- Previously worked on advertisements or social media content across multiple paid social platforms.
- Keen interest in marketing and consumer psychology.
