Director of Strategic Key Accounts
About the Role
We are seeking a results-driven and relationship-focused Director of Strategic Key Accounts to lead enterprise account management initiatives, strengthen client partnerships, and support long-term business growth. This leadership role is responsible for managing high-value accounts, developing strategic relationship plans, and ensuring exceptional client engagement across key business partnerships.
The ideal candidate is a strategic communicator with strong commercial acumen, experience managing complex client relationships, and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage strategic account plans aligned with organizational growth objectives
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, business partners, and executive stakeholders
Serve as the primary point of contact for high-priority accounts and strategic partnership initiatives
Collaborate with sales, operations, marketing, and leadership teams to ensure client satisfaction and business alignment
Identify account growth opportunities, relationship expansion initiatives, and long-term partnership strategies
Monitor account performance metrics and prepare business reviews, reports, and strategic recommendations
Support contract coordination, service alignment, and ongoing account management activities
Analyze market trends, client feedback, and competitive insights to strengthen account strategies
Drive cross-functional collaboration to improve client experience and operational effectiveness
Mentor and support account management teams to ensure consistent service standards and relationship management practices
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Management, or related field
20+ years of experience in account management, business development, client relations, or strategic partnerships
Proven success managing enterprise or high-value client accounts
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Excellent organizational and analytical capabilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities within fast-paced business environments
Experience with CRM platforms, reporting systems, and client management tools preferred
