We are seeking a highly motivatedSocial Media & Content Operations Associate (m/w/d) (ID124)remote, volunteer, part time (approx. 10 hours/week)

Reports to: Head of Marketing

Location: Remote (Preference for U.S. or Europe)

Timezone Context: GMT+1 (Germany) | GMT+3 (Kenya)

to co-own our daily social media and content operations. Guided by the Head of Marketing, you’ll help maintain our brand voice across platforms, manage visual assets, and design engaging content using Canva Pro (license provided). This is a hands-on, systems-focused role ideal for someone fluent in content workflows and platform logistics.

You will share our commitment to entrepreneurship as a catalyst for positive change and want to contribute to our mission of creating wealth through job creation and business development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Posting & Scheduling

• Publish daily posts across LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, and other platforms using templates and captions aligned with the EUSMS brand

• Support CEO-driven communication by transforming leadership messages into accessible, visual content

• Monitor engagement and ensure consistent tone and formatting

Media Management

• Organize and maintain photo/video libraries in OneDrive/SharePoint

• Tag, archive, and track new assets for future use and campaign reporting

Design & Content Creation

• Use Canva Pro to design visuals and improve templates

• Adapt graphics for various platform formats and optimize readability

• Support video and image curation for storytelling across campaigns

Workflow & Process Improvement

• Build and document repeatable workflows for social content production

• Contribute to SOPs (standard operating procedures) and content calendars

• Provide coverage during vacations or role transitions

QUALIFICATIONS

Background

• Experience in social media coordination, content creation, or digital communications

• Exposure to nonprofit or mission-driven organizations is a plus

Skills

• Proficiency in Canva (basic to intermediate)

• Familiarity with OneDrive/SharePoint and digital file organization

• Confidence managing daily posts and platform logistics

• Awareness of platform trends and best practices

Mindset

• Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented

• Passionate about storytelling for social good

• Comfortable working remotely in a multicultural, volunteer-driven team

• Eager to learn and contribute to building scalable digital processes
