PR & Communications Executive (PR&CE)

The European Helicopter Association (EHA) is seeking an experienced PR & Communications Executive (PR&CE) to shape and lead its communications strategy across Europe. This is a pivotal leadership role, reporting directly to the CEO and engaging closely with the Board of Directors. The position is fully integrated into EHA’s governance structure and will play a key role in elevating the association’s visibility and credibility across stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive PR & Communications strategy aligned with EHA’s strategic objectives

• Lead the PR&C Committee and collaborate with technical teams to translate complex aviation content into accessible messaging

• Work closely with the Technical &Safety Executive to broadly communicate complex technical content in an approachable manner for the non-technical public

• Coordinate communication efforts with key stakeholders, including OEMs, operators, regulators (e.g., EASA), and European institutions

• Actively produce and publish content across EHA’s channels, including writing articles, press releases, speeches, social media posts, and newsletters

• Conduct interviews, prepare media briefings, and manage day-to-day content updates on the EHA website and social media platforms

• Ensure alignment and consistency in messaging with European Rotors and EHA members

• Curate and manage the EHA brand, initiating marketing campaigns and materials around major initiatives and events

Your Profile

• A mid- to senior-level communications professional with proven experience in public relations, media, and stakeholder engagement

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; confident in public speaking

• Skilled in strategic messaging and crisis communications

• Experience advising executive leadership (C-level) and working with boards

• Familiarity with the aviation or rotorcraft sector is highly desirable

• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities with limited resources
