About the Role
We are hiring a Marketing Manager who also supports our sales team on closing.
You will fully own our marketing strategy — top of funnel through nurture — and you will work alongside our Chief Commercial Officer (Valentina) and Chief Growth Officer (Paul) on the sales side, helping them improve close rates by running follow-up calls, chasing open proposals, and keeping deals warm.
You are not expected to execute marketing alone. You will direct and manage the work, leaning on our internal team of 35 specialists for content, design, and operational execution. Think of yourself as the conductor: you set the strategy, brief the team, review the output, and own the results.
Critically, this is a role for someone who uses AI as a core part of how they work. We expect you to use Claude, Gemini, and other AI tools daily — for research, personalization, content, sequence building, and process automation. If you still do outreach manually one message at a time, this role is not for you.
You will report directly to the founders and have a real seat at the table for how the agency grows.
What You Will Be Doing
Marketing strategy and management (your primary ownership)
- Own our outbound and inbound marketing strategy end-to-end: positioning, messaging, channel mix, content angles, campaign sequencing, and lead generation
- Brief and direct our internal team (content, design, ops) on execution; review and refine output before it ships
- Build and manage outreach sequences on LinkedIn, email, and other channels using AI-powered personalization
- Identify which channels are working, double down on what converts, and kill what doesn't
Sales support (working with Valentina and Paul)
- Run follow-up calls with prospects to keep deals warm and unblock objections
- Chase open proposals — call, email, and message until you get a yes, no, or a clear next step
- Help Valentina (CCO) and Paul (CGO) improve close rates by being the consistent voice between calls
- Bring patterns you hear in objections and proposal feedback back to the leadership team
AI leverage as a core competency
- Build prompt libraries, templates, and AI-powered workflows that compound over time
- Use Claude and Gemini daily to research prospects, draft outreach at scale (without it sounding like a template), summarize calls, and extract patterns from conversations
- Continuously experiment with new AI tools and bring the best ones into our process
CRM and reporting
- Keep the CRM clean and accurate so we always know where every deal stands
- Surface patterns in objections, feedback, and wins back to the team and the founders
Who You Are
- You have 3+ years of experience in B2B marketing or growth — ideally inside or working with digital agencies, eCommerce brands, or SaaS
- You are a strong written and verbal communicator. You can write a cold email that doesn't feel cold, and you are equally comfortable picking up the phone to follow up on a proposal
- You think strategically but you also ship. You are equally comfortable building a 90-day marketing plan and running a Tuesday afternoon proposal follow-up call
- You use AI fluently as part of how you work — not as a novelty. You have specific examples of how Claude, Gemini, or similar tools have made you faster or better
- You are organized and operationally minded. Follow-through is automatic for you — no proposal goes cold on your watch
- You understand or are genuinely curious about eCommerce, Shopify, and digital marketing
- You are self-directed. You don't need to be told what to do next
Nice to Have
- Experience working in or with a digital, growth, or eCommerce agency
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Apollo, Clay, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar
- Hands-on experience building AI-powered workflows (e.g., Clay + Claude, custom GPTs, n8n/Zapier with LLMs)
- Understanding of the Shopify ecosystem or eCommerce migration processes

Location
