Digital Marketing SpecialistLocation: Remote (U.S.-based)

Our client is a world-wide major manufacturer of medical and aesthetic equipment with offices in more than 90 countries around the world. They have become a market leader in non-invasive treatments, the fastest-growing segment of medicine. Within Medical Aesthetics, Salesforce is the central commercial system supporting a rapidly growing U.S. and Canadian organization of 350+ field sales representatives, clinical specialists, and commercial stakeholders. Their Marketing Operations meet the highest standards, to support continued scale, data integrity, and operational efficiency.

General Summary of Position:

The Digital Marketing Specialist will report to the Director of Digital Marketing and Technology. In this role, the Digital Marketing Specialist will have direct access to the end users and management. The ideal candidate will be patient with good people skills, a willingness to learn, a passion for problem solving and a team player. All while providing support to others with varying technical backgrounds.

On a day-to-day basis, the Digital Marketing Specialist will be part of the first line of support for Salesforce related cases, and inquiries, where they will be troubleshooting issues, providing support, and assisting the sales and marketing teams.

Job Summary

Responsible for supporting users, system administration and configuration, data management/integrity, building reports and dashboards, providing limited training, and assisting with other projects as needed.

In this role, the Digital Marketing Specialist will:

  • Manage Salesforce users, profiles, roles, and permissions, ensuring efficient system operation.
  • Customize Salesforce fields, page layouts, reports, and dashboards to meet business needs.
  • Provide day-to-day end-user support, troubleshooting Salesforce issues, and escalating when necessary.
  • Administer Salesforce-related services such as Pardot, Community Portal, and other digital tools.
  • Support additional digital services including Digital Asset Management, Sales Team Portal, and Learning Management System.
  • Develop and maintain training materials and documentation, facilitating user understanding and adoption of digital tools.

Key responsibilities:

  • Create and manage users, profiles, roles, and permission sets in Salesforce.
  • Customize fields, page layouts, record types, reports, and dashboards.
  • Develop reports and dashboards.
  • Assist in data import/export/updates, system customization and data integrity.
  • Provide day-to-day end user support and assist users with best practices to improve and increase their knowledge of Salesforce.com.
  • Troubleshoot Salesforce issues and escalate as needed administrative responsibility for Salesforce related services such as Pardot (Marketing Automation System), Community Portal, Engage, and various others.
  • Provide support with Digital Asset Management system, Sales Team Portal, Learning Management System, Various other marketing and sales team related tools and services.
  • Create training and user documentation and maintain ongoing documentation processes as business needs evolve or as features are added.
  • Participate in the gathering and reporting of analytics related to tools and services.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 3–5 years of Salesforce Administration experience (Sales Cloud)
  • Demonstrated experience using workflow rules, process builder, flows, reports, dashboards, and formula fields
  • Previous experience with Pardot and/or marketing automation tools
  • Previous experience working with and supporting Sales team members
  • Training abilities and strong communication skills
  • Proficiently navigate and utilize standard computer software including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and cloud-based applications to efficiently perform daily job functions, including document creation, information management, and communication and collaboration with team members and customers
  • The desire to learn and collaborate cross-departmentally
  • Excellent communication skills and self-starter mentality
  • Ability to effectively work remotely
  • Up to 20% Travel

Education and Experience Requirements/Preferred

  • Associate degree in Electronics Technology or related field, and/or equivalent military training or work experience
  • Familiarity with internally developed or customized Salesforce implementations, including custom objects, bespoke workflows, and non-standard business logic
  • Experience working with Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms and their integration into marketing and sales workflows
  • Familiarity with Salesforce-integrated tools (Freshdesk, support systems, ERP, event platforms)
  • Exposure to Territory Mapping or complex account hierarchy models
  • Experience in B2B manufacturing, medical devices, or regulated commercial environments
