Marketing Manager for an Exciting New Band Management CompanyCV's without a personalised cover letter will not be considered.
Are you passionate about music, particularly in the alternative rock/indie space? Do you dream of being part of an artist's journey from obscurity to stardom? If so, we have an extraordinary opportunity for you to join a brand-new band management company and play a pivotal role in launching the careers of up-and-coming artists.
Our first band, Zamaran, is gearing up for their debut, blending raw talent with a stadium-filling rock-country vibe. Your role will be to create the buzz they need to make their mark, whether it’s promoting live shows, building excitement around EP releases, or connecting with a growing fanbase. You will also play an integral part in shaping the future of the company by being involved in the process of deciding which artists we manage.
What You’ll Do
• Develop and execute innovative social media strategies across all platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc.) to promote Zamaran and future artists
• Craft compelling content, including visuals, videos, and copy, to engage and grow a loyal fanbase
• Plan and execute marketing campaigns for live shows, album/EP releases, and band-related news
• Build relationships with fans, influencers, and the broader music community to amplify the reach of your campaigns
• Attend occasional in-person events (e.g., gigs, photoshoots) to create authentic, behind-the-scenes content and strengthen your connection to the artists
• Monitor analytics and trends to refine strategies and maximise impact
What We’re Looking For
• A deep love for music, especially in the alternative rock/indie genre
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in marketing and social media management
• Proven success in building an engaged online community or fanbase
• Creative and out-of-the-box thinking with a passion for experimenting and pushing boundaries in music promotion
• Ability to work remotely with a high degree of autonomy and self-motivation
• Flexibility to attend monthly in-person events
Important: Read Before Applying
This is not a salaried role. Instead, it is a royalty-based position with business equity. You will not only be paid through a percentage of artist royalties as careers progress, but you will also own a share in the company itself. In other words, this is a partnership where your success grows as the artists succeed and as the company builds value.
If you are looking for a traditional salaried position, this is not the right opportunity. We recommend balancing this alongside your current work until royalties and company growth reach a sustainable level. However, this role offers the potential to evolve into a full-time career and long-term stake in an exciting new business.
Start Date: Immediate
Location: Remote (UK-based applicants only), with occasional travel to events (no more than once a month)
How to Apply
A tailored cover letter is required; applications without one will not be considered.
We do not accept AI-generated or generic cover letters. Show us your personality and passion for music.
In your cover letter, please answer: What’s an independent artist campaign you admire and why?
