We are looking for a motivated Ad Sales Representative to help connect brands, businesses, creators, and organizations with advertising opportunities across the Dom Lucre media network.
Position Overview
The Ad Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying potential advertisers, building relationships with businesses, pitching ad placements, and closing advertising deals for DomLucre.org. This role is ideal for someone who understands digital media, social media marketing, brand partnerships, and online advertising.
The right candidate is confident, persuasive, organized, and comfortable reaching out to businesses, agencies, creators, and brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and contact potential advertisers, sponsors, and brand partners.
- Sell advertising opportunities on DomLucre.org and related media platforms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Create and deliver compelling sales pitches to prospective advertisers.
- Explain available ad packages, pricing, audience value, and campaign benefits.
- Follow up with leads and manage the sales pipeline.
- Negotiate advertising deals and sponsorship agreements.
- Work with the DomLucre.org team to ensure campaigns are properly placed and delivered.
- Track outreach, client conversations, closed deals, and ongoing opportunities.
- Stay aware of digital media trends, advertiser needs, and brand partnership opportunities.
Qualifications
- Previous sales, advertising, marketing, media, or business development experience preferred.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable with cold outreach by email, phone, direct message, or LinkedIn.
- Ability to confidently pitch advertising packages to businesses and brands.
- Knowledge of digital advertising, social media, online media, or influencer marketing is a plus.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Results-driven mindset with the ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has experience selling ads, sponsorships, media placements, or marketing services. They understand how to present a media brand’s audience, traffic, influence, and cultural relevance as valuable advertising opportunities.
This person should be comfortable speaking with business owners, marketing directors, agencies, creators, and brand representatives.
Compensation
This position may be structured as commission-based, base plus commission, or contract-based, depending on experience and performance.
Top performers will have the opportunity to grow into larger partnership, sponsorship, or advertising leadership roles.
