Senior Director of Marketing (B2B IT Services) – C2H Role
Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned marketing leader to define and drive a comprehensive marketing strategy—spanning high-quality lead generation, brand positioning, thought leadership, Account-Based Marketing (ABM), event marketing, and sales collaboration. This senior-level role demands proven experience in B2B enterprise marketing, a deep understanding of the IT services ecosystem, and strong cross-functional leadership with sales and executive teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Strategy & Leadership
Develop and execute a data-driven marketing strategy aligned with business growth goals.
Define measurable objectives across demand generation, MQL growth, and brand awareness.
Lead and mentor the marketing team while fostering a collaborative, performance-oriented culture.
2. Demand Generation & MQL Growth
Execute integrated lead generation campaigns across digital, content, and ABM channels.
Implement lead scoring, nurturing workflows, and conversion optimization to increase both MQL volume and quality.
Partner closely with sales to ensure seamless lead handoff and pipeline conversion.
3. Thought Leadership & Content Marketing
Establish the organization as a thought leader in IT consulting by producing high-impact content including whitepapers, case studies, blogs, and webinars.
Collaborate with internal SMEs to craft insightful messaging aligned with industry trends and customer pain points.
4. Brand Development & Market Presence
Elevate brand identity through strategic campaigns and innovative initiatives.
Oversee PR, social media, and influencer marketing to expand visibility and brand equity.
Represent the company at key industry conferences, webinars, and events.
5. Digital Marketing Excellence
Lead digital marketing efforts across SEO/SEM, email marketing, paid media, and website performance.
Leverage AI tools and platforms (e.g., HubSpot) to enhance automation, personalization, and ROI tracking.
6. Analytics & Reporting
Monitor, analyze, and report on marketing KPIs including MQLs, campaign performance, and ROI.
Use analytics insights to optimize campaign effectiveness and inform strategic decisions.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with sales, delivery, and product teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with business priorities.
Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure marketing strategy supports the company’s broader vision and objectives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
10+ years of B2B marketing experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role within IT consulting or technology services.
Demonstrated success in driving MQL growth and leading demand generation initiatives.
Expertise in digital marketing, ABM, and CRM/marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
Strong leadership skills with experience scaling and managing high-performing teams.
Analytical and data-driven mindset with the ability to measure and optimize marketing performance.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to craft compelling narratives that reinforce brand leadership.
Preferred Attributes
Experience in IT services, systems integration, or SaaS-based organizations.
Familiarity with partner marketing ecosystems such as Oracle, Salesforce, Google, or Microsoft.
Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities and a results-oriented approach.
