As we continue to grow our leadership and expand our impact on the Private Equity (PE) sector, we are seeking talented and highly skilled Director-level consultants to join our team. You will be working closely with Alysian Partners, PE operating partners, and the CIOs/IT leadership teams at portfolio companies to execute transformative IT-enabled value creation strategies.
We are seeking an experienced Interim / Fractional Head of Marketing to lead the next evolution of our brand, content, and communications. This role will drive our marketing engine across thought leadership, reference/case study management, digital campaigns, and internal communications. The ideal candidate combines strategic brand thinking with hands-on delivery and thrives in an entrepreneurial, high-growth environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesBrand & Market Presence
- Relaunch Alysian’s external brand positioning and messaging to align with PE and CTIO audiences
- Define and communicate Alysian’s differentiation vs. both global and boutique firms
Thought Leadership & Content
- Develop and execute a quarterly content plan including whitepapers, LinkedIn posts, event content, and client-facing insights
- Ghostwrite thought leadership for partners and consultants
References & Case Studies
- Create a centralized reference library using Zoho Creator
- Capture, write, and publish 10+ high-quality case studies with measurable impact
- Enable usage in proposals and pitches
Digital Campaigns
- Activate Zoho CRM & Marketing for campaigns and email nurture flows
- Drive awareness and engagement across digital channels (LinkedIn, newsletters, webinars)
- Track performance using dashboards and KPIs
Internal Communications
- Launch an internal comms rhythm (e.g., bi-weekly newsletter, CEO updates, wins)
- Strengthen alignment across global teams with consistent brand tone
Capability & Infrastructure
- Mentor junior team members or freelancers
- Identify and propose long-term team structure, tools, and agency partners as needed
Profile of the Ideal Candidate
- 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing, ideally in consulting, tech, or private equity environments
- Proven track record in building brand positioning and thought leadership platforms
- Strong writing and storytelling ability — capable of ghostwriting for senior leaders
- Experience managing CRM-driven campaigns (Zoho preferred but not required)
- Hands-on, outcome-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with internal communications is a strong plus
Engagement Details
- Duration: 3 to 6 months (with potential for extension)
- Time Commitment: 2–3 days per week (flexible based on availability and deliverables)
- Location: Remote
- Compensation: Competitive, based on experience
