We’re looking for a crypto-native community and social marketer to join Crypto Tax Calculator, soon rebranding to Summ.
You’ll own our social channels (X, Reddit, LinkedIn, TikTok) and get deep into the crypto trenches–think Discords, Telegram groups, and niche subcultures across DeFi, trading, NFTs, and more.
If you live on Crypto Twitter, know your way around token-gated Discords, and can craft content that cuts through the noise, this one's for you.
Key responsibilities🔊 Owned social strategy and execution
- Own and grow our presence on X (Twitter), Reddit, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- Craft channel-native content that’s timely, educational, or entertaining
- Track and report on performance. What’s working, what’s not, what’s next
🌱 Community infiltration and engagement
- Join and actively contribute to crypto-native spaces like Discords, Telegrams, and niche forums
- Find the right way to show up in these communities without spamming or overselling
- Surface community insights to help inform product, marketing, and content
💬 Customer-driven storytelling
- Find stories from our user base and turn them into compelling content
- Help turn power users and loyal community members into public advocates
- Work closely with content, growth, and support to keep messaging aligned
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
- Are genuinely crypto-native and spend far too much of your free time on X
- Have 2 to 4 years of experience in social, community, influencer, or creator marketing
- Feel comfortable being a visible face or name on social and in community spaces
- Are highly self-driven and get things done without needing a lot of hand-holding
Bonus points if:
- You’ve helped build or moderate a crypto community
- You’ve hosted Twitter Spaces, Reddit AMAs, or managed a Discord server
- You’ve dabbled in DeFi, NFTs, or trading (and have the scars to prove it)
- You’ve used CTC yourself or helped someone who has
