Role Overview:

Mercor is partnering with a leading AI lab to improve how advanced language models understand and reason about video content. This role involves reviewing short video clips and providing structured annotations. It’s a fast-paced, detail-focused opportunity ideal for candidates with strong academic backgrounds and excellent English proficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Watch short-form videos and annotate them according to detailed client guidelines.
• Answer structured questions accurately and consistently for each video.
• Identify and flag ambiguous, unclear, or low-quality video content when required.
• Maintain high annotation quality across repetitive or standardized tasks.
• Follow evolving instructions while ensuring consistency and attention to detail.

Requirements:

• Current or former undergraduate or graduate from a top 50 U.S. institution (within 10 years of graduation).
• Strong written English skills and high reading comprehension.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow structured annotation processes.
• General familiarity with common online video formats (e.g., explainer videos, social media clips).
• Ability to work independently and stay focused on repetitive or structured tasks.
