Position DetailsPosition: Academic Research Expert

Type: Hourly Contract

Compensation: $100–$150/hour

Location: Remote

Duration: Minimum of 2 weeks, with potential for extension

Role Responsibilities

• Review and analyze long-form documents (up to 90 pages) for comprehension, accuracy, and relevance.
• Create high-quality prompts, questions, and reference answers to train AI in complex reading comprehension tasks.
• Validate and fact-check AI-generated answers for accuracy, nuance, and completeness.
• Identify inconsistencies, errors, and misinterpretations in AI outputs and suggest improvements.
• Synthesize detailed, technical, or academic content into concise, clear, and well-structured summaries.
• Collaborate with project coordinators and research leads to ensure quality and adherence to project guidelines.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a technical writer, research analyst, academic editor, legislative analyst, content reviewer, curriculum designer, or instructional designer.
• Strong background in creating Q&A, summaries, or assessments for long-form material.
• Excellent deep reading, analytical, and synthesis skills.
• Strong fact-checking and editing skills with high attention to detail.
• Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, and structured responses.
