Position: Video Captioning and Summarization Expert

Type: Hourly Contract

Compensation: $40/hour

Location: Remote

Duration: 4–5 weeks (with potential extension)

Commitment: 10-40 hours/week (flexible scheduling)

Role Responsibilities:

• Analyze short video clips and/or images, producing structured annotations capturing key details such as subjects, objects, environments, audio cues, temporal dynamics, mood, and storytelling elements.
• Apply professional judgment to decide which attributes best describe a scene and how to express subtle narrative or emotional cues.
• Provide clear, concise, and accurate captions and summaries for visual media.
• Follow precise project guidelines and adapt quickly to new requirements.
• Collaborate directly with project leads to ensure annotation quality and consistency.

Requirements:

• Experience in one or more of the following: movie production, film editing, screenwriting, archiving, media analysis, or similar creative domains.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret complex visual and narrative information.
