Junior Ecommerce Manager | Discovery & Exploration Brand
Location: UK Remote First – Occasional Travel (you will need to be UK based)
Salary: £35,000–£40,000 + Benefits
Why this role?
I'm working with an established international hobby and discovery brand that's looking for a Junior Ecommerce Manager to take ownership of its newly launched UK DTC channel.
With over 60 years of heritage and an established retail presence, the business has recently launched its UK Shopify website and is now investing in its next phase of growth.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take that next step in their Ecommerce career. You'll have the chance to take ownership of a growing channel, develop your commercial and digital marketing skills, and play a key role in shaping its future.
You'll be joining a small, collaborative UK team where ideas are welcomed and decisions can be made quickly. There's plenty of autonomy, alongside support from experienced international colleagues.
It's also a business where people stay! Several UK team members have been there for over a decade, with some international colleagues celebrating 20–30 years.
What you'll be doing
- Taking ownership of the day-to-day trading and performance of the UK Shopify website.
- Driving website traffic, customer acquisition, conversion and revenue growth.
- Managing and optimising Google Ads campaigns, with a focus on ROI.
- Developing email marketing activity through Klaviyo, including customer engagement and subscriber growth.
- Managing website merchandising, content and customer experience improvements.
- Identifying opportunities to improve internal Ecommerce processes and website performance.
- Monitoring commercial KPIs, managing budgets and reporting on performance.
- Working closely with UK and international teams, alongside external creative and marketing partners.
What we're looking for
- Experience working in a hands-on Ecommerce role, ideally within a DTC consumer brand.
- Strong working knowledge of Shopify, including day-to-day website management and trading.
- Some practical experience with Google Ads and customer acquisition.
- A good commercial understanding of Ecommerce KPIs, including conversion, AOV, revenue and ROI.
- Exposure to email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo would be beneficial.
- Confident working independently, with the ability to manage priorities and take ownership.
- Someone curious, proactive and keen to continue developing their Ecommerce and digital marketing skills.
You don't need to be an expert in every area. This role could be particularly well suited to an experienced Ecommerce Executive who's ready to step into a broader role with more responsibility.
What's on offer?
- £35,000–£40,000 salary, depending on experience.
- UK remote-first working with occasional travel to the office (you will need to be UK based)
- Private healthcare.
- 25 days' holiday + bank holidays.
- Workplace pension scheme.
- Employee discount.
- Business travel expenses, including mileage allowance.
- Opportunities to attend relevant Ecommerce industry events.
- The chance to develop your skills and grow alongside a newly launched Ecommerce channel.
