To support continued regional growth, they are now seeking an experienced Marketing Director to lead and drive marketing strategy across the European region.
Position Summary
The Marketing Director – EU Region will be responsible for developing and executing a cohesive marketing strategy that strengthens brand positioning, drives growth, and enhances customer engagement across Europe. This leadership role requires a deep understanding of B2B and B2C automotive marketing, regional market dynamics, and the ability to lead diverse, cross-border marketing teams. The position is remote, based in Spain, with some travel as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the regional marketing strategy in line with global brand and business objectives
- Oversee all areas of marketing, including brand management, digital marketing, product marketing, communications, and market intelligence
- Collaborate closely with regional sales, product, and leadership teams to align marketing initiatives with commercial goals
- Drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement through targeted campaigns and innovative marketing channels
- Manage the regional marketing budget, ensuring optimal ROI across campaigns and initiatives
- Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to inform strategic decision-making
- Build and lead a high-performing, regionally distributed marketing team
- Coordinate with global HQ to ensure brand consistency and leverage global assets locally
- Oversee regional events, PR, and trade show participation to enhance brand visibility
Qualifications
- 10+ years of marketing experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role, ideally within the automotive or industrial sectors
- Proven success in leading marketing functions across multiple European markets
- Strong expertise in digital marketing, CRM, branding, and product marketing
- Experience in both strategic planning and hands-on execution
- Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and campaign performance
- Fluent in English; additional European languages such as Spanish, German, or French are a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred
