Role Overview
We are hiring for one of our clients and looking for a motivated and creative Digital Marketing Intern to join their team. This opportunity is ideal for someone looking to gain practical exposure to digital marketing, content, social media, audience engagement, and online brand growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with planning and executing digital marketing campaigns across relevant online channels
• Support social media activities, including content planning, scheduling, publishing, and engagement
• Research current digital marketing trends, audience interests, and competitor activities
• Assist in creating engaging content for social media, websites, blogs, and other digital channels
• Support SEO activities, including keyword research, content optimisation, and basic website analysis
• Monitor social media engagement, website performance, and campaign results
• Assist with email marketing campaigns and audience communication
• Conduct market and audience research to identify potential growth opportunities
• Support the development of creative campaigns to improve brand awareness and audience engagement
• Assist in maintaining and updating digital marketing calendars and campaign schedules
• Track key campaign metrics and prepare basic performance reports
• Work with the marketing team to test different content and campaign approaches
• Assist with lead-generation and online customer-acquisition activities
• Research relevant platforms, communities, and digital channels for promotional opportunities
• Collaborate with content, design, and other teams to support marketing initiatives
Requirements
• Strong interest in digital marketing, social media, branding, and online marketing
• Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts and marketing channels
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with social media platforms and their content formats
• Basic understanding of SEO, content marketing, email marketing, or paid advertising is an advantage
• Ability to conduct online research and identify relevant market trends
• Creative mindset with an ability to develop fresh content and campaign ideas
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to understand and interpret basic marketing performance metrics
• Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, Canva, or similar platforms is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple marketing activities and meet deadlines
• Willingness to learn new digital marketing tools and technologies
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Good teamwork and collaboration skills
• Relevant academic background in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, Communications, Media, or a related field is an advantage
• Previous academic projects, freelance work, personal projects, or practical experience in digital marketing will be considered positively
