About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Digital Marketing Specialist to join our Email Marketing Automation Programs team. This role will support the development, execution and optimization of email lifecycle and marketing automation campaign initiatives designed to enhance customer engagement, retention, and conversions. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, hands-on campaign execution experience, and a passion for continuous improvement in digital marketing strategies.

Your ResponsibilitiesMarketing Automation Program Execution & Optimization

  • Partner with clients to understand business objectives, customer lifecycle challenges, and growth opportunities, and translate those insights into strategic email lifecycle campaigns.
  • Lead the strategy, setup, execution, and monitoring of automated email lifecycle campaign workflows such as renewal, churn prevention, nurture programs, etc. while driving testing strategies and continuous performance improvements.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance (open rates, CTRs, conversions, revenue, etc.) and identify optimizations and testing opportunities to continuously grow the campaign impacts

Client Support & Communication

  • Prepare and deliver performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations, including partnering with other team members by preparing data for client meetings and presentations.
  • Lead client conversations and respond to inquiries related to campaign performance, automation strategy, and ongoing optimization opportunities.
  • Contribute to strategic discussions on expanding marketing automation programs.
  • Develop, nurture, and own client relationships by serving as a trusted partner to ensure client satisfaction long-term.

Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement

  • Ensure consistency and quality in campaign execution and reporting, maintaining data accuracy and integrity for meaningful insights.
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to streamline workflows and efficiency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales, Client Success, Engineering, and Product teams to align campaign automations with broader digital marketing services efforts.
  • Actively contribute to a collaborative Digital Marketing Services team environment by sharing knowledge, supporting team initiatives, and assisting peers to ensure successful client outcomes.
  • Support integrated multi-channel campaigns to maximize client outcomes in addition to lifecycle email campaigns.
  • Share client feedback and insights with internal teams to improve strategy and service offerings.
  • Support relationships with vendors and external consultants to ensure seamless collaboration.

Market & Industry Awareness

  • Stay current on marketing automation tools, trends, and best practices, and find ways to apply this knowledge to client work.
  • Participate in training, workshops, and industry events to build expertise.
  • Contribute to team thought leadership by sharing innovative ideas and approaches.

Qualifications

This position is for you if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on email marketing and marketing automation.
  • Hands-on experience with email marketing automation platforms (e.g., WhatCounts, Emarsys, HubSpot, Marketo, or similar).
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in interpreting campaign performance data.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities proactively, and take ownership of projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in marketing agencies or client-facing positions is a plus.

A reasonable estimate of salary range for a new employee to be offered this role would be between $65,000 to $75,000 which would be adjusted based on each employee's geographic location. The position of each employee within a compensation range at Cleverbridge is dependent on several individual circumstances, such as experience, training, certifications, and other business requirements/needs.
