Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented marketing communications professional to join our team and help define our marcomms strategy from the ground up. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact, building and shaping how we connect with our audiences across all channels. As our Marketing Communications Manager, you'll be the architect of our digital presence, crafting compelling content and executing impactful campaigns that drive results. You'll be responsible for maximizing the reach and impact of our content and ensuring consistent, compelling communication that drives engagement and supports business goals. This role is a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves to build systems and processes from scratch. You should be equally comfortable developing high-level strategy and creating content yourself when needed. - Digital Marketing Mastery : Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies, including content marketing, SEO/SEM, paid advertising and email marketing to drive lead generation and brand awareness.
- Website Optimization : Oversee the management and optimization of our website, ensuring a seamless user experience and driving engagement.
- Social Media Leadership : In collaboration with the Senior Communications Manager, develop and implement engaging social media strategies to build a vibrant online community and amplify our brand message.
- Webinar Excellence : In collaboration with the Senior Communications Manager, plan, execute, and promote high-quality webinars that educate and engage our audience, establishing Circular Action Alliance as a thought leader.
- Content Creation and Amplification : Create compelling and informative content across multiple channels, maximizing reach and impact to drive brand engagement and lead generation.
- Conference and Event Engagement: In collaboration with the Senior Communications Manager, identify, plan, and execute impactful participation in industry conferences and events (both virtual and in-person) to elevate brand visibility and engage with key stakeholders.
- Strategic Collaboration : Work closely with our Senior Communications Manager to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment across all internal and external communications.
- Data-Driven Insights : Analyze campaign performance, track key metrics, and generate insightful reports to optimize strategies and drive continuous improvement.
- Building from the Ground Up : Embrace the entrepreneurial spirit of a startup, rolling up your sleeves to build and define our digital marketing approach from the ground up.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in B2B marcomms roles with a proven track record of:
- Developing and managing impactful integrated marketing and communications campaigns across digital and traditional channels, demonstrating a strong understanding of audience segmentation and engagement strategies.
- Leading the development, maintenance, and optimization of compelling online presences including websites, ensuring brand consistency and user experience.
- Defining and executing comprehensive social media strategies and developing engaging content.
- Creating and delivering effective content (written, visual, and multimedia) across various platforms to support marketing and communication objectives.
- Analyzing campaign performance and providing data-driven insights to inform future strategies and optimize impact.
- Skills :
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
- Expertise in website management and optimization.
- Knowledge of prompting techniques and best practices for leveraging LLMs and generative AI tools to optimize marketing content and workflows.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Innovative thinking and creativity in developing engaging content and campaigns.
- Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop team members.

Compensation & Other Information
- Location: Remote with potential for in person times
- Pay Rate: Based on a variety of factors in accordance with applicable law, including the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
- Reports To: Senior Vice President of Communications
