Role Description This part-time remote role as a Content Editor / Copy Editor at CEDE: CÁMARA DE ENERGÍA DEL ECUADOR focuses on reviewing, refining, and managing written content across digital platforms and publications. The role involves editing articles, reports, web pages, and communications for clarity, consistency, grammar, and style, while ensuring alignment with organizational guidelines and energy sector messaging. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with content creators, verifying facts and data, optimizing web content for readability and engagement, and maintaining an editorial calendar. The Content Editor / Copy Editor will also help structure content for different audiences, support content management workflows, and contribute to continuous improvement of editorial standards. Qualifications

• Ability to manage and organize digital content and workflows, demonstrating strong Content Management skills.
• Proficiency in Editorial tasks, including copyediting, line editing, and ensuring adherence to style guides and quality standards.
• Experience with Web Content Writing and Writing, with the ability to adapt tone and structure for different platforms and audiences.
• Strong Research skills to verify information, check sources, and support accurate, evidence-based content.
• Excellent command of written English; Spanish reading or writing skills are a plus.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and basic SEO principles is beneficial.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a remote, part-time setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Linguistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
